We returned once again to the Grand Teton National Park. We were supposed to work here this summer for Grand Teton Association, however, John's knee was not up to it. So, we decided to visit with them instead and John's daughter came out to see it for the first time.

Lots of our friends from Ding Darling were in the area too. In addition, our blogging friends Karen and Al were again working in the area. We have become great friends ever since meeting here two years ago.

It was fun to revisit this beautiful park and show Jen all our
favorite places.
Why not come along with us and see them too.

Of coarse, kayaking was involved

Jen had a really good time

We searched high and low for a bear to no avail but we did see lots of other wildlife. Jen was able to see 18 moose.

    1. It is so much fun to meet up with friends. We love the staff at Grand Teton Association. They are just like family to us. It was so wonderful to have Jen visit too. She really enjoyed spotting all the wildlife. We call her Eagle Eye.

  2. Your pictures are just so fantastic. What a great time you showed your daughter of a place you clearly know extremely well. I love the Tetons and was so happy to see all these iconic views and the otter. I'm really envious of that sighting. This is a great post. Thanks for sharing it.

  3. Must have been wonderful to catch up with all those friends and that beautiful place. I do hope we can get there sometime...hopefully on shoulder season with fewer people, but when we can still kayak. Last time we passed through it was so smoky we couldn't see the mountains.

    1. Forest fires are always a threat and currently there are a lot in the area now. You can hardly see the range right now. So sad...It's been a very dry and windy summer here. Perfect conditions for lots of fires to take off.
