Fort Desoto Florida 82° bright blue sky perfect weather
It's been a week now since I took a tumble directing John out of our camping site. Luckily no surgery was required just this pretty Colt Blue cast for about a month. I'm pretty bruised and beat up in general but John's been taking very good care of me.
We've spent two weeks at the beautiful Fort De Soto Park in St. Petersburg Florida. It's an amazing campground and we have enjoyed it very much. It's has some spectacular beaches and is an ideal place if you enjoy birding. I'll post lots of pictures once I get this silly cast off. I have typed this post using a voice command on my iPad. Cool!
We leave tomorrow and are driving across the state to cocoa beach. Our home for the next week will be Jetty Park. It's a city park right on the beach and we saw it last winter when we took a Segway tour with J.C. and Beverly.
Thank you everyone for all your kind get well wishes and support. It is meant so much to us.
So glad to hear from you and know things are going well. I loved Fort Desoto but it was too pricey for my budget to stay very long. Can't wait to see your pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhen I broke my wrist in seven places, the hardest things for me were getting my bra on, and driving a stick shift car. Glad you have help and support.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are on the mend:)
ReplyDeleteIs that a Peace symbol you are flashing there? 8^)
