| Driving to Colorado Springs |
We headed to Colorado Springs today to visit a 1367 acre city park called Garden of the Gods. This park has been recommended to us by so many people. It is something to behold. The land was donated by the children of Charles Perkins in 1909 with the stipulation that admission be always free to all who visit. God bless the Perkin's!
It was a spectacular day and unlike Cripple Creek, spring has arrived. It was our 13th wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful way to celebrate our special day. Rather than add any more words, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

What a beautiful park. We hope to return soon.
Our friend Debbie contacted us today to let us know she is a grandmother. Her son and daughter in law now have a beautiful little boy named Hunter Allen. Congratulations!
