Prayer Request

(Cripple Creek, Colorado) 26 degrees, gray skies, snow flurries)

Debbie and Hunter
Some things are very hard to write about but I believe in the power of prayer.  In our last post I shared that my girl friend Debbie has a new grandson named Hunter.  He was born on Monday and everyone was so excited to see him.  Less than 24 hours later he developed some respiratory problems and was placed on a ventilator.  Hunter was rushed to a neonatal intensive care unit in Indianapolis and it was discovered that he had not developed the left side of his heart.

Today he has the first of a series of surgeries to repair his tiny heart.  It is only the size of a quarter and our prayers go out to Hunter, his family, and the amazing medical staff that are taking care of him.  We ask that you add him to your prayers and thoughts.

Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

  2. Oh, so many prayers. The Lord cradled my own baby in His hands through her heart surgery in 1979. He is faithful in all things.
