Cruising on the Bonne Bay - Gros Morne National Park - Newfoundland

Woody Point, Gros Morne National Park, Newfoundland

The Gros Morne National Park offers through a concessionaire another great boat trip on Bonne Bay overlooking this fabulous park and surrounding villages ($40/person). We started off by taking a water taxi from Woody Point over to Norse Point where the boat was located. It was a fun "cab" ride.

The crew offers a fun fulled trip and its narrated throughout. We felt the crew went out of their way to be sure everyone had a good time. As we set off fog started to roll in. It was fun to watch.

It blocked for awhile our ability to go out of the bay but eventually it disappeared as quickly as it had come in. It was a great way to see the little villages, rock formations, and cliffs.

We even cruised by where our motorhomes are hanging out right now at the Water's Edge.

At the end the crew got together and played  a few Newfie songs. It was a great trip.

We soon will be leaving this beautiful place. It's been a really great visit. Now we are going to cross over to the east coast of Newfoundland to the town of Placentia. It's a great birding area. Check back soon!

  1. Sad to say we've visited more of the US then our own country. Hoping to change that soon and will be trying to follow in your footsteps.
